Jason Zuzga is currently a PhD student in English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania focusing on 18th century (and more recent) natural histories and poetics. He received an MFA in Poetry and Nonfiction from the University of Arizona. He is the nonfiction editor of FENCE magazine, and his poetry and nonfiction have appeared in such journals as the Yale Review, jubilat, Tin House, Seneca Review and VOLT. He was the recipient of a 2001-2002 residential fellowship from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, and was the 2005-2006 James Merrill Writer-in-Residence in Stonington, CT.
