A Valediction

Declining
frequency.  Sometimes
when we laughed

it was an antler
shaken of snow.
Whole pianos opened

at a phrase.  That's
gone now; the buzz,
too – but I liked

your fingernails, you know,
their curve, the full
spoons of them
