Chiori Miyagawa is a playwright based in NYC. Her plays have been produced off-Broadway, at renowned performance houses in NYC, and regionally. Six of her plays have been published in different play anthologies. She is a recipient of many fellowships and grants including a McKnight Playwriting Fellowship and a Rockefeller Bellagio Residency. Currently she is a resident playwright of New Dramatists. America Dreaming, was recently published in Global Foreigners from Seagull Books, edited by Carol Martin and Saviana Stanescu.
Miyagawa's new play, I Have Been To Hiroshima Mon Amour, will premiere in NYC in February 2009, co-produced by Voice & Vision and Crossing Jamaica Avenue.
