Dede Norungolo

Dede Norungolo recalls her paternal grandfather shooting home movies, and snapping photos with a twin-reflex camera in the 1960s. Influenced by being in front of the camera, she now prefers seeing the rural South through the viewfinder. The award-wining photojournalist has been received into juried shows in both Tennessee and Virginia. Additionally, her photos have been published in newspapers, “Sandlapper” and the Kakalak anthology that celebrates North Carolina and South Carolina.
