Neil Jenkins
is a British artist whose current practice is heavily engaged with
electronic media, languages, programming and live networked communication.
He is particularly interested in the use of networks, both real
and virtual, for the creation of interactive online and installation
pieces. Alongside his solo work (devoid) he lectures in Graphic
Design and Interactive Media at Bath Spa University and works extensively
with the London/net-based artists' organisation Furtherfield as
technical director and programmer for numerous projects including
Visitors Studio, a multi-user space for creative collaboration and
live net-jamming.
