Rosemary Bodolay
is an independent videomaker in Madison, Wisconsin working primarily on documentary and art video projects.
Rosemary’s video work has been screened, broadcast, and cablecast internationally. In
addition to single-channel video projects Rosemary creates site-specific installations. She
has received grant support from “Film-in-the-Cities/National Endowment
for the Arts”, "National Endowment for the Humanities”, and numerous
local organizations.
Rosemary has been teaching Artists’ Video in the Art Department , University of Wisconsin-Madison since 1997. In addition, she has taught courses in Computer-Mediated Arts, Computers in the Visual Arts (Art Dept.), and Video Design (InterArts and Technology Program).
Note:
Her most recent site-specific installation is a collaboration with Dale Malner for “Vogelfrei 6 – Paradise Gardens” in
Darmstadt, Germany (September 9-25, 2005).
Most recently, her video,
Gaijin/Outsider was selected for the Wisconsin Triennial-2002 and
the 12th Annual International Film Festival (2003) in Tucson, Arizona.
