Christian Peet's
work appears in Bird Dog, Fence, Octopus, Parakeet, Pom2, Shampoo,

and elsewhere. His chapbook, The Nines, will be published
by Palm Press in 2006.
Christian teaches Poetry at Brooklyn College, Creative Writing at
Hunter College, and has worked in the past as a carpenter's apprentice,
sheet metal fabricator, goat milker, organic sprout grower, maintenance
man, landscaper, and convenience store clerk. He received a BA from
Bennington College, and an MFA from Goddard College.
“The Nines” derives its title and 1/9th of its movements
from an Edge (www.edge.org) interview with mathematician/philosopher
Reuben Hersh. Other appropriated texts include George F. Adams’
