Stephan Clark , a 2005-2006 Fulbright Fellow to Ukraine, has fiction and essays forthcoming in or recently published by Swink, The Cincinnati Review, Fourteen Hills, Ars Medica, Permafrost, Night Train, The Portland Review, and Barrelhouse. He is completing a collection of stories that dramatizes the history of communism from the pilgrims of Plymouth Plantation to the mail-order bride agencies of the post-soviet world. He is also at work on a novel set against the backdrop of the artificial flavor industry.
