Nancy Kuhl
’s
chapbook, In the Arbor, was winner of the Wick Poetry
Chapbook Prize and was published by Kent State University Press. Her
book manuscript, The Wife of the Left Hand, was a finalist
for last year’s National Poetry Series book contest, the Verse Prize
from Verse Press, the Tupelo Press First Book Award, the University
of Georgia Press Poetry Series prize, and the AWP/Donald Hall Award
for Poetry. She is co-editor of Phylum Press (www.phylumpress.com), an
independent publisher of innovative poetry. She is the Assistant
Curator of the Yale Collection of American Literature at the
Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University; she is
the author of two exhibition catalogs published in 2003 by the
