David Barringer is a writer, designer, and photographer. His fiction has appeared in Epoch, Wisconsin Review, Nerve, Del Sol Review, In Posse Review, Failbetter, Tatlin's Tower, Hobart, Monkeybicycle, Small Spiral Notebook, and others. Quick Fiction recently nominated one of his stories for a Pushcart Prize.

Recent projects include: the fiction collection We Were Ugly So We Made Beautiful Things, published by Word Riot Press; the book and CD magazine, The Writer's Specimen; and the notorious Dead Bug Funeral Kit. New projects are forthcoming.
