George Orrimbe is an engineer who lives in Paris. In 1967, after having met J.F. Ozenda, an artist belonging to the Art brut movement, a movement that creates painting and collages with raw materials (found objects, “as is” matter, unimproved stuff), he began working with sculpture and rapidly thereafter painting. His work has featured in several exhibitions since 1983 with the Galerie J.C. Riedel in Paris. In 2007 he became a member of the Ouvroir de Peinture Potentielle.
